02 / Confirm the quotation
Review specifications, MOQ, sample and tooling charges, packaging, estimated timing and payment terms. Clarify freight, duties and taxes rather than assuming they are included.
03 / Review the samples
Check the sample against the intended fit, appearance and function. Record changes and confirm the reference specification before proceeding to production.
04 / Agree production & dispatch
Set the inspection scope, packing details and shipping arrangement for the order. Production and delivery timing are project-specific and should be confirmed in writing.
What to approve at each stage
Before sampling: agree the product reference, material grade, size, connector or end link, clasp configuration, color and surface finish. Include target quantities by variant so that the sample request reflects the intended order.
At sample review: record fit observations, appearance changes and functional feedback in one revision list. Identify the approved sample or drawing version. Do not treat a photo approval as confirmation of dimensions that have not been checked.
Before production: confirm the final specification, inspection scope, packing details and delivery plan in writing. The selected catalog style may have a 200- or 300-set minimum; separate clasp orders have their own minimum.
Before dispatch: confirm the destination, shipping arrangement and required documents with your contact. Keep product approval and shipping instructions together so a change in packaging or quantities is reviewed before release.

How long does sampling take?
Timing depends on the selected style, changes and any development work. Provide your target date; a project-specific schedule is confirmed after specification review.
Can specifications change after sample approval?
Send the change for review before production proceeds. A material, connector, clasp or finish change may require a revised sample, quantity or schedule.
